AI Enrichment Not Triggering

Why an incident may be missing its AI explanation.

Token budget exhausted

The most common reason enrichment does not trigger is that the organisation’s daily or weekly AI token budget has been exhausted.

The incident detail view will show a notice if this is the case. Enrichment resumes automatically when the budget resets (daily at midnight UTC, weekly on Monday at midnight UTC).

To increase your budget, contact support.

Incident was just created

Enrichment runs asynchronously after incident creation. It typically completes within a few seconds, but may take up to 30 seconds under load.

Refresh the incident detail page if the enrichment section shows a loading state.

Rate limit

Each cluster has a per-agent LLM rate limit to prevent a single cluster from consuming the entire organisation budget. If a cluster is generating a high volume of new incidents in a short period, some enrichments may be queued and delayed.

Enrichment failed

If enrichment failed (for example, due to a transient error from the AI provider), the incident detail view shows a retry button. Click it to trigger a new enrichment attempt.

If retrying does not help, contact support with the incident ID.
