Retention & Cleanup
How long DataAgent keeps incident and signal data.
Incident retention

The default retention period for resolved and dismissed incidents is 90 days. Contact support to adjust this for your organisation.
Signal retention
Signals are the raw detection events that back incidents. Suppressed signals are deleted after 30 days — a shorter window than incident retention, since a suppressed signal never became an incident.
Active and promoted signals are retained as long as the incident they back is active.
Effect on AI chat
Chat history for an incident is deleted when the incident is deleted. There is no separate retention period for chat messages.
Manual deletion
Individual incidents can be deleted from the detail view by organisation owners and admins. Bulk deletion is available from the incidents list view.
